An evening from first gelato to Italian pizza - along with Trevifountain and Spanish steps

Walking and walking as we always do on our first day somewhere - we stumble across the very mighty Victor Emmanuel monument.  And also very yummy gelato, which we enjoy although it is freezing cold.  Rahul drinks a little wine - purely for warming up purposes.

Fontana di Trevi.  Under construction/renovation or something.  It's supposed to be romantic (isn't it?) but the construction totally killed the moment. We did make wishes though.

Spanish steps.  Rahul still had lots of energy and ran up and down the steps taking pictures.  Tani was super tired by then (carrying Fun Stuff, after all!) so she sat and watched the selfie-stick men try to sell selfie-sticks to people that already have selfie sticks (this is the new model!)

Pizza!  Quatro stagioni with an egg on it.  Tani annoyed herself by trying to be healthy and getting a salad. The salad was not fun. The pizza was ok but not crazy good. Still searching for pizza awesomeness in Rome...
