We landed early morning in Seward. , disembarked the ship, and boarded the shuttle bus to Anchorage. The route is extremely scenic and just beautiful, but super tiredness and sleepiness, didn't keep us awake, for most of the ride. At the airport, we picked the Chevrolet Sonic LTZ (light, small & cool car but not so great pick up) and started the drive to Denali. We did stop at a Korean coffee place for lunch where we got served with 'Panini Lap', yes, it was called "lap" and not wrap. Anyways, drive to Denali national park was alright, with decent views but nothing spectacular. We had wilderness tour to mile 53, Toklak. The bus ride was amazing, just great views of mountains, landscape (we saw Mount McKinley) and wildlife (ground squirrel, caribou, bald eagle and also Moose). We got back around midnight but as you can see by pics, it was still bright. That's true Alaska! I asked the guy earlier at wilderness center that when does it gets dark, he said 'mid-August'. Anyways, after a quick post-midnight dinner of hot (reindeer/elk topping) pizza we had a good night sleep in out creek-side beautiful tent. The day in true Alaska was just AMAZING!
